Travel advise from Dubrovnik

  • The Ferry from Dubrovnik to Korcula island sails several times a week. www.jadrolinija.hr
  • The bus from Dubrovnik town to Vela Luka. The price for the bus is around 12 Euro p.p.
  • A taxi, minivan or touring car to Vela Luka
  • Rent a car in Dubrovnik and drive down to Vela Luka. In Orebic (Peninsula) you van take the ferry (15 minutes journey) to Korcula island and drive down to Vela Luka - 40 km over a very nice and scenery road. If you rent a car you also can make some nice trips here on the island.

If you have some time to spent in Dubrovnik before hopping on the bus you can store your luggage for a small price in a luggage depot next to the bus station!

Travel advise from Split

  • A bus or a taxi to the ferry haven in Split. (20 km)
  • A transfer from the airport 25 euro both ways: (by a minimum of 4 persons)
  • From Split harbour: The Catamaran or Ferry to Vela Luka and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Adriatic coast.
  • In Vela Luka the water taxi or normal taxi or walk

If you have some time to spent in Split you can store your luggage for a small price in a luggage depot next to the bus station opposite of Jadrolinija ticket office. Split ferry port is a 5 min walk away from the Old town with many little bars, taverns and restaurants.

  • By car: North Europe. In the direction city of SPLIT (Highway with a very beautiful panoramic view.) New motorway (Toll road - fees can be paid in Euros, Sterling, Dollars or Kuna).
  • Rent a car: airport Split/Kastela– Airport Dubrovnik
