In short: Hotel Posejdon*** is located on the beach of Vela Luka next to Croatia divers. The area is very green and beautiful. In front of the Hotel is the beach area with a beach terrace.

Location: Hotel Posejdon lies east of Vela Luka Bay. It is a 15 minute walk to town along the coastal road. In front of the Hotel & diving center a water taxi can be taken across the bay for only 70 euro cent per trip. Of course Vela Luka also has taxi service too.

Transfers from and to the hotel on day of arrival and departure can be arranged. De ferry port lies 2 km away from the Hotel.

facilities: A swimming pool, a very good a la cart restaurant, bar, dancing terrace with live music, conference room, iron for laundry, washing laundry, transfers, kinder bed, children’s chair, excursions organized by the hotel, hotel beach, swimming pool planned for 2009, diving school next door, rent a bike, scooter & bicycles.

The PADI dive center: professional 5 star Gold Palm IDC resort offers training from intro diving to PADI Instructor. Croatia Divers serves diving since 1988 and is definitely one of the top dive centers in Croatia!

Dive trips: We offer 35 dive sites ranging from walls and drop-offs to drifts, caves, caverns. On one of our trips in April we saw a Turtle, in May a shark and on another dive two large Stingrays. There is small family of Dolphins living near our Southern diving sites. The Blue hole, the Cathedral and Velo Dance are probably the most fantastic dive sites in the Med and the Adriatic

  • All Packages are excluded of tourist tax (max. 1 euro per person per day)
  • Transport from and to the hotels or private accommodation is not included
  • All qualified divers have to obtain a Croatian permit of 14 euros - valid for 1 year / throughout the whole of Croatia
  • All offers are subject to space and availability

General booking & cancellation rules

• 50% deposit is required to secure hotel accommodation
• 30% deposit is required to secure private accommodation
• 30% deposit is required to secure diving & courses
• For July & August: when cancellation are made within 21 days prior to arrival the full deposit will be charged
• For other months: when cancellations are made within 14 days prior to arrival the full deposit will be charged
• When cancellation are made outside the periods as mentioned above the full paid amount will be returned minus transfer costs (in the region of 7.50 euro per refund)
• Cancellations made upon arrival: the full amount of the booking will be charged

• Special packages need to be booked in advance.
• All year around offers do not need to be booked in advance however it is always advisable to secure your place in the course and on the boat.
