Croatia Divers is a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centre. Our successful and long running PADI internship program takes you from a PADI Divemaster to a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor giving you both the qualifications and experience necessary to function as dive professional.
We are the only dive centre in the South of Croatia to have been awarded the prestigious PADI 5 Star Instructor development rating. You can be assured of quality training and experiences. This means that PADI have recognised the excellence in the services that we provide for our divers. There for we can provide you with the full range of courses and dive services, all the way from absolute beginner to PADI Dive Instructors.

Our intern program gives you the opportunity to gain the best training you can think of to become a real dive pro and in a great team, with a good atmosphere and lot's of fun!
After the program you can answer to any divers questions, being a professional support to any PADI instructor, deal with all the logistics thinkable, know how to deal with a divecenter's organisation, sales, problem solving, problem prevention, briefings, clients services, flexibility and a bit of management!

PADI Assistant Instructor , PADI Open water Scuba Instructor and EFR Instructor internship
Total length of the program: 12 weeks included, days off, course & study days
Included in the program:
- IDC preparation course
- PADI Assistant Instructor
- PADI Open Water Instructor
- EFR Instructor & care for children instructor
- 12 weeks accommodation in the staff or intern house (sharing rooms)
- Use of our cylinders, Nitrox and air fills, weights
- Up to 100 dives needed to enter the IE
What is not included
- PADI instructor examination (IE) with PADI Europe (IE Location in Croatia)
- The required PADI materials (OWSI crew pack included slates)
Optional courses you may wish to enroll
- MSDT Specialty preparation course
- Business of Nitrox course including DSAT Tec Rec gas blender instructor
- Business training for the PADI Professional * New seminar launched in 2009
* When enrolling in the Business & sales course you receive from PADI Europe the 5 MSDT specialty membership fees for free (worth €399 )
Course & intern enrollment requirements:
- Be a certified PADI Divemaster
- Be 18 years old
- Submit proof of CPR, CFC & First Aid training within the last 2 years
- Have medical clearance, signed by a physician, not older than 1 year
- Show proof of 60 dives and be a certified diver for at least 6 months
- Have professional dive insurance with either DAN or Aqua med (PADI)
- Professional liability insurance with either DAN or PADI
- Enthusiastic, hard working& open minded, People skills, Sales qualities and last but not least.... a Team player !!!
Optional requirements:
- Guitar would be great - or another music instrument (except your piano) for the staff evenings and the regular staff BBQ's !

PADI Assistant Instructor & EFR instructor
Total length of the program: 8 weeks included, days of course, study & exam days
Included in the program:
- 8 weeks accommodation- sharing - in Croatia Divers staff house on the sea
- Up To 100 Open Water Dives. (the required amount to become a PADI Professional AI)
- Unlimited diving on your days off (due to space on the boat)
- Tourist tax of 1 euro per day included (€ 56)
- Croatia Divers T- shirt
- Free internet access at the dive center on your days off and in your lunch break
- 10% discount on all scuba diving equipment
What is not included
- The required PADI materials (AI & EFRI crew pack included slates)*
- Complete & appropriate Scuba Diving equipment including compass, knife, torch, SMB and Reel**
* If you come from another organisation as such SSI, CMAS, BSAC etc. we will order the materials for you and have this directly posted to your home address
** Special AI offer: Regulator with SPG& depth gauge plus BCD from our used stock . in top condition: only €219 + free open heel Fins

As co-founder of the Rydek triangle® I must say that time I spent with Croatia Divers was a massive blast. The best crew ever!! Thanks to everyone, Bobby, Marjolein, Billy, Dave, Stewart & Markus (there should be more Markuses in this world)... a great thanks to the rest of the team... But I still think that we can break more things here :-) and of course I will miss Karlovacko so I hope to see you again next season !!
