PADI Open Water Divers Course - Basic
This is the entry course to become a independent diver!
During your Open Water Diver course you'll learn all the basics of scuba diving. Already after the first diving sessions in the pool or in confined water you will experience the fun of diving.
Under professional supervision, step by step you will learn all the basics of diving, dive techniques, how to become a confident diver, how to have a good time under water, how to handle your equipment, how to recognize safe equipment, how to take care of your buddy (you never dive alone and you have always a buddy), how to be a safe diver and how beautiful and exciting the underwater world is!

PADI Open Water Diver Course - Premium
During the PADI Open Water Course as listed above, you will be introduced to diving with Enriched Air (Nitrox) up to 32%. Diving with Nitrox is better for you as a diver and it extends your allowable dive times!

PADI Open Water Diver & Advanced Open Water Diver combination incl. full equipment rental
Each dive of the Advanced course is called an Adventure Dive and after completing 5 Adventure Dives you will become an Advanced Open Water Diver. Two of the dives are Deep and Navigation, - these are known as core dives. The other 3 dives are elective dives and you can choose from a range of adventure dives such as: Wreck, Multilevel, Drift, Fish ID / A.W.A.R.E, Search & Recovery, Boat, Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB), U/W Naturalist, Night, etc. Upon completion of this course you will have a recommended depth limit of 30m and an absolute maximum of 40m (the same depth limit as an instructor).
There is not as much theory involved as in the Open Water Diver Course and there is no final exam. You already have the basic knowledge and what we do is expand upon this knowledge and apply it to specific forms of diving in the Open Water environment.
You will get specific tasks under water for certain forms of diving. For example; mapping a Wreck on the Wreck Adventure Dive, buoyancy tasks during PPB and so on. The Advanced Open Water Diver Course makes you a more confident, experienced and safer diver which means that every dive you do becomes more fun (you are more relaxed so you notice more, your air lasts longer, etc).

With PADI eLearning you have:

So basically you can choose for 3 options to complete your theory sessions for the OWD course:
- Integrated with the OWD course at Croatia Divers in the dive center: homework can be done on the beach, in your hotel / apartment or in our garden outside - costs: none except for the PADI manual - price may vary per language.
- At home with the PADI manual which we can post you in advance - postal costs & the PADI manual
- Via PADI eLearning online via the PADI web-site - 120 US$ / 97 euro and a return fee of 30 euro when starting the practical part.
